What is your up-time guarantee?

Web Hosting California is committed to high quality standards at all times. We offer a 99.8% up-time guarantee each month. This means if for some unforeseen reason your monthly up-time does not make up 99.8% of the minutes in a month, then we will refund that months hosting fees. We also want you to know we have never been requested for a refund nor had a server issue that could possibly impact a client for any length of time that we would consider critical. Do you offer website hosting discounts?

We understand web hosting is a competitive business. If you find a great deal, that is fine with us. There are deals everywhere, but we firmly believe you get what you pay for. We are USA owned and operated and proud of it. We dont use off-shore support or equipment. This means our plans may not be the cheapest hosting plans out there, but that's ok by us. Hopefully that's ok by you too.

When will I be able to access to my account?

We are not automated for security and other important reasons. We take care with our clients account set-ups, to ensure everything is working as it should before we hand over access. We dont want you to have issues and we pride ourselves on the details and effort we go to. Website servers are complicated pieces of equipment, automation is fine for some but we prefer the hands on approach to website hosting.

What about security, should I be worried?

We advise all clients regularly about security updates and post bulletins often about potential issues website owners should be aware of. As many of our websites are CMS Open Source developed, most owners are aware as fast as us that they have updates to complete.
